Running
a successful drift team is about more than throwing a copule of cars together. It's a business, and as such it needs a fair backing behind it and quality branding. As far as the ability to be recognised goes then, you cant go past Team Wheelworx of South Australia or, as it's more affectionately know by locals, the "Tarmac Army"......

Adam "Mayhem" May
is proberly more at home trucking around 5000-tone earth-moving monsters, but he's completely at peace sliding his way around a track and has become know for his aggressive, hardcore technique.....

Stewart 'The Furbinator" Furze a self-proclaimed pocket rocket, Stewart Furze may only stand 5ft 2in and weigh in a feather-light 55kg, but what he lacks in size he makes up for in skill......

Linden "Mr Natural" Reynolds
, Linden is one of four regualr Drift Australia drivers in Team Wheelworx, and his weapon of choice us this six-cylinder 21JZ-GTE-powered S15.

With a laid-back, relaxed style, Linden made waves after winning the 2006 Drift Australia Super Drift series, followed by a top-15 placement in Drift Australia in 2007.....

Paul "Aussie" Austin has certainly come to the force in the 2008 Drift Australia series, placing seventh on debut.

Paul's had a stack of success in local SA comps, but is now looking for a podium finish on the elite stage....

Richard Ruggiero
- Super Drift driver Richard ruggiero, or A-Bomb as he is know by his team-mates, has moved up from mechanic to steerer this year, piloting his rather unique Cefiro.

The Ceffy is being powered along by a 302cui small-block Ford V8, which has seen it gather a bunch of fans thanks both to its monster torque and awesome noise. Certainly, Richard is one to keep an eye on next year.

Team Wheelworx would like to thank the following sponsors: Maxxis tyres, Scali Cranes, M&C Doyle Crash Repairs, Racing Logic, Clutch Industries, Racespec, SPG garage, Autosolutions, DLS car Audio, friends, family and the behind scene crew - we look forward for bigger things in 2009 Season look out for the Tarmac Army.
